Michael McCullough

Senior Application Security Engineer at Woven Planet Holdings

Michael McCullough has an extensive work experience in the field of application security engineering. Michael started their career at the National Security Agency in 2011 as an Information System Security Engineer. After working there for two and a half years, they moved on to become a Senior Security Engineer at the Arizona Department of Transportation in 2013. In 2014, Michael worked as a Penetration Tester for the US Federal Courts before joining Edelman Financial Engines in 2015 as an Application Security Engineer. Michael spent six years at Edelman Financial Engines before joining Patreon in 2021 in the same role. Currently, Michael holds the position of Senior Application Security Engineer at Woven by Toyota, starting from November 2022.

Michael McCullough pursued their education in the field of network security. Michael first attended the University of Advancing Technology from 2008 to 2010 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Network Security. Later in 2012, they obtained a Master Certificate in Information Systems Security Engineer from the Naval Postgraduate School. Additionally, they acquired various certifications throughout their career, including Sumo Logic Fundamentals, Python Classes and Inheritance, Data Collection and Processing with Python, Python Functions, Files, and Dictionaries, Foundations of Everyday Leadership, InsightVM Certified Administrator, Python Basics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, GMON, CISSP, CAP, Network +, Certified Ethical Hacker, and ITIL V3 Foundations.
