Karen Cheng

Karen Cheng has over 20 years of work experience in various positions in finance and operations. Karen started their career as an Audit Assistant at Tan Chew Chua & Co in 1998. After that, they worked as an Accounts Assistant at Yum! Brands from 1999 to 2000, followed by a role as a Financial Analyst from 2000 to 2001. In 2002, Karen joined KFC as an Assistant Planning & Analysis Manager, and later became a Planning & Analysis Manager until 2005. Since 2005, they have been working at Starbucks, initially as the Head of Finance from 2005 to 2012. Karen then served as the Operations Director from 2012 to 2015, and currently holds the position of Finance Director since 2015. Additionally, they briefly served as an Interim Market Lead at Starbucks in 2011. Overall, Karen Cheng has a strong background in finance and has held various leadership roles in the industry.

Karen Cheng completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Western Australia from 1995 to 1997. Karen later pursued a CPA certification from CPA Australia, specializing in Accountancy from 1998 to 2001.
