Emma Gerdis

Emma Gerdis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in marketing, communications, and internships. Emma started their career as a People & Culture Intern at WesleyLife in 2017. Emma then served as the Vice President of Simpson College PRSSA and worked as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard at YMCA of Greater Des Moines. Emma later joined the Des Moines Arts Festival as a Program Intern, where they organized events and communicated with various stakeholders. Emma also gained experience as a Communications Intern at Your Clear Next Step, LLC, where they assisted with packaging and preparing for training sessions, created content for social media and websites, and managed feedback databases. Next, they worked at Meredith Corporation as an SEO Associate, where they conducted keyword research and collaborated with content production teams to improve search engine optimization. Emma then transitioned to the role of Marketing Coordinator at Merchants Bonding Company, where they played a key role in marketing initiatives. Currently, Emma holds the position of Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Wright Service Corp., responsible for strategic marketing and communications efforts.

Emma Gerdis attended Simpson College from 2015 to 2018. Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations during their time at the institution.
