Nicholas Burgess

Nicholas Burgess is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security analysis and Splunk management. Currently serving as a Splunk Engineer at XOR Security since February 2019, Nicholas previously held the position of Security Analyst - Splunk Content Manager at UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies from July 2016 to February 2019. Prior to that, Nicholas worked as a Security Analyst at USmax Corporation for over eleven years, focusing on Intrusion Detection System monitoring and incident response. Nicholas began the career as a Security Engineer at Symantec, where responsibilities included managing security services and vendor coordination, and started in the field as a Network/Security Engineer at Sunrise Senior Living, maintaining network infrastructure for a large number of senior living communities.
