Austin Bowie

Austin Bowie has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Austin is currently working as a System Safety Engineer at Xwing since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at NASA as the Chief Mission Assurance Officer from March 2021 to December 2021, and as a Quality Engineer specializing in System Safety and Mission Assurance from June 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining NASA, Austin worked at OnPrem Solution Partners as a Consultant from August 2016 to April 2018. In this role, they performed various tasks depending on project needs, including working as a Website Product Owner and a PMO Analyst.

Earlier in their career, Austin worked as a Technical Engineer at the University of Southern California from October 2013 to May 2016. Austin also gained experience as an Automation Engineer at TigerText from June 2015 to August 2015, where they used languages like Ruby and Javascript to develop automated tests for web applications. Additionally, they had an internship at 3PAR, where they worked as a Test Automation Intern from June 2014 to August 2014. In this role, they developed a Python-based test suite and collaborated with various individuals to resolve bugs.

Austin Bowie attended the University of Southern California from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an emphasis on Computer Science.
