Alyssa Gateman

Alyssa Gateman, MPH CCRP has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and quality assurance. Alyssa currently holds positions at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation and the Yale Cancer Center as a Senior Advisor, Quality Assurance and Executive Director, Clinical Trials Office, respectively. Alyssa also serves as Adjunct Faculty at Southern Connecticut State University. In terms of professional associations, they have been a member of the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) Board of Directors and the SOCRA Connecticut Chapter Chair. Prior to their current roles, Alyssa worked at the Yale University School of Medicine as the Sr Associate Director, QA & Research Regulatory Initiatives and the Associate Director, Quality Assurance at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation. Alyssa also served as the Interim Administrative Director of the Yale Cancer Center's Clinical Trial Office. Before joining Yale, Alyssa held positions at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as the Director and Deputy Director of Quality Assurance for Clinical Trials. Additionally, they were the SOCRA Boston Chapter Chair during their tenure at the Society of Clinical Research Associates. Alyssa's work experience spans from 2010 to the present, highlighting their dedication and expertise in clinical research and quality assurance.

Alyssa Gateman, MPH CCRP, completed their Bachelor of Science degree at Elmira College from 1994 to 1998. Alyssa then pursued their Master of Public Health degree at Boston University from 2002 to 2005, specializing in Public Health with a focus on Biostatistics and Epidemiology. In 2006, Alyssa obtained their certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
