Frederik van Den Abeele

Frederik Van den Abeele has a strong background in revenue management and hospitality. Frederik is currently the Chief Operating Officer at YAYS Group, starting in August 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked at NH Hotel Group from 2014 to 2020, where they held various positions including Head of Revenue for Northern Europe and Director of Revenue for Benelux, France, UK, Africa, and USA. Before joining NH Hotel Group, Frederik worked at Scandinavian Hospitality Management as Vice President Hotel Performance, Vice President Finance, Project Leader/General Manager, and Regional Director of Revenue Strategy. Frederik also gained experience at Marriott International, Gaylord Entertainment, and Accor in finance, strategic planning, revenue analysis, and F&B analysis roles.

Frederik Van den Abeele completed a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Erasmushogeschool Brussel from 1992 to 1995, though their degree and field of study during this time are unknown. Frederik also attended Sint-Lievenscollege Gent until 1991, where they focused on Latin-Mathematics.
