Olgac Aycan

Olgac Aycan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1998, they worked at Toraya Japanese Restaurant, where they managed the kitchen, handled procurement, sales and marketing, and served as a Chef de Partie. In 2002, they became a Store Manager at Garden of Eden Gourmet Marketplace, overseeing operations and catering services. From 2005 to 2011, they owned and operated their own business, NSP, LLC Miami, specializing in premium marble sales.

In 2011, Olgac joined HD Holding as the Director of Business Development, Leadership, and Brand Management, where they contributed to the expansion of a restaurant retail franchise. They were responsible for developing a food and beverage sales expansion strategy, implementing new products, and managing the brand under constant pressure.

In 2012, Olgac took on the role of Brand Ambassador at Costa Sunglasses and later at YETI, representing the brands positively and building relationships with customers and retail associates.

From 2017 to 2022, Olgac worked at Whole Foods Market, focusing on culinary sales growth, Amazon customer service, and financial management. They excelled in building brand loyalty, optimizing sales opportunities, and mentoring and training team members.

Most recently, Olgac joined BMW of North America, LLC in 2022 as a ///M Certified & BMW i Certified Client Advisor at Schomp BMW. Their role involves managing the client experience throughout the entire sales and service cycle, initiating conversations with prospective customers, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Olgac Aycan pursued their education in a chronological order. From 1994 to 1998, they attended Istanbul University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science and Fisheries with a focus on Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Fisheries. Later, between 2000 and 2002, they attended the International Culinary Center, where they obtained a certification in Professional Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management, specializing in Classic French Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management. In addition to their educational background, Olgac also holds several certifications, including being BMW M Certified by BMW of North America, LLC since July 2023 and a ServSafe Food Handler certification obtained from Jefferson County, Colorado in September 2019. Moreover, they possess an Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Catch & Release Licence from Fisheries and Oceans Canada, although the month and year of obtainment are not provided.
