Ashwin Ramaswami has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Founder of Ashwin Run, a company they established in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Researcher at Plaintext Group, where they focused on tech policy research. Ashwin also served as a Technology Law and Policy Fellow at Sequoia Capital in 2023.

In terms of their earlier experience, Ashwin worked as a Research Assistant at Stanford University starting from November 2017. Ashwin Ramaswami earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, which they attended from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they studied at Chattahoochee High School from 2013 to 2017. After completing their undergraduate degree, they enrolled at Georgetown University Law Center to pursue a Doctor of Law - JD, which they expect to obtain between 2021 and 2024. Additionally, Ashwin obtained several certifications, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional and MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 from Microsoft in July 2016. In January 2019, they earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services. Ashwin also holds the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in September 2018.
