Shyam Ravikumar

Shyam Ravikumar began their career in 2009 as a Design Intern at Greaves Cotton India Ltd. Later that same year, they worked as a Project Intern at Putzmeister Concrete Machines Pvt Ltd. In 2010, they joined Oklahoma State University in collaboration with E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Co, Inc. as a Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. During this time, they analyzed behavior of particle-laden slurry flow in a pipeline and accurately simulated slurry flow in a pipe using an Eulerian model. Their work was sponsored by the National Science Foundation and supported by E. I. DuPont de Nemours and Co. In 2012, they joined Zahroof Valves Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, later becoming Lead Mechanical Engineer and Engineering Manager.

Shyam Ravikumar obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University in 2010, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 2012.
