Subash Venugopalan

Subash Venugopalan has a strong background in finance and accounting. Subash started their career at Guru & Co as an Audit Executive, gaining experience in auditing various types of businesses. After working there for five years, they joined Bharti Airtel Limited as an Assistant Manager, where they focused on business planning, forecasting, and reporting. Subash was recognized for their contributions in revenue estimation and forecasting efficiency. Subash then advanced to the positions of Manager and Senior Manager, where they took on additional responsibilities in decision support system, taxation, and compliance management. Subash's work at Bharti Airtel resulted in high levels of accuracy in forecasting and improved profitability. Subash later joined Zain Group as the Group Finance Director Operations & Business Performance. In this role, they analyzed business performance and financial statements, and provided recommendations to management. Subash has a wealth of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and financial planning.

Subash Venugopalan completed an Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2001 to 2005. Subash also obtained a CS (Final) degree in Company, Tax, and other Corporate Laws from The Institute Of Company Secretaries Of India from 2003 to 2007. In 2010, they received an IFRS certification from KPMG and NIIT in the field of Accounting. Furthermore, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Commerce and Accountancy from Loyola College affiliated to the University of Madras from 2000 to 2003. Subash continued their education and earned an ACMA, CGMA degree in Accounting and Finance from CIMA in 2019 to 2020. Finally, they are expected to complete a Stackable Program in Digital Transformation with a focus on Economics from IE University in 2023.
