Randa Salem has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Randa began their career as a Web Development Team Leader at the Ministry of Health & Population in Egypt in 1999. Randa then worked as a Teaching Assistant & Web Developer at the Information Technology Institute from 1998 to 2002. Randa then took on the role of Projects Manager at the Electronic Business Institute-IDSC from 2002 to 2003. Randa briefly worked as a Training and Development Manager at the Information and Decision Support Center-IDSC in 2003.

In 2006, Randa joined Jaidah Group as the Head of Training and Development, and later that year, they joined the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in Qatar as the Web Development Lead. Randa also worked as a Business Support Consultant at the Information and Decision Support Center-IDSC in 2008.

From 2008 to 2015, Randa worked at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment as a Software Developer & Analyst, and later as a System Analyst and Senior System Analyst. During this time, they automated key HR systems, participated in a national project, and implemented the ministry's paperless strategy.

In 2017, Randa joined Revalton as a Senior Business Analyst (Product Owner), where they successfully led business and system analysis projects. Randa also owned and led the delivery of an AI Happiness Index platform.

Most recently, Randa joined Zand in 2019 as the Operations Strategy and Implementation Head. Overall, Randa has gained valuable experience in software development, project management, analysis, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Randa Salem completed their education in a chronological order. In 1992, they enrolled at Ain Shams University and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication & Electronics Engineering, which they completed in 1997. Following this, they attended the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a Diploma in IT. In the year 2001, Randa enrolled at the University of Nottingham and achieved a Master of Science degree in IT.
