Isi Santamaria

Isi Santamaria has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Most recently, Isi served as the VP of Engineering at Zap-Map, leading the scale-up of the business's engineering team. Prior to this, Isi was the Head of Engineering at UK Research and Innovation, where they worked in partnership with various organizations to create an environment for research and innovation.

Isi also held positions at tmgroup (UK) ltd. as an Enterprise Architect and Technical Director, responsible for the development and delivery of a new enterprise platform and improving software quality. Before that, at WCBS, Isi worked as a Technical Director, ensuring high-quality standards and as a Software Development Manager leading the .NET development team.

Isi's earlier work experience includes roles as a Business Applications Manager at Plantronics, Systems Development Manager at TripleArc, and as a Software Engineer at GWC Ltd. They began their career as a Programmer and Support Analyst at ISYS Interactive Systems Limited.

Isi Santamaria completed their education at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering. Their field of study included Chemistry, Physics, and Computing. In addition, Isi Santamaria obtained a certification as a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2021.
