Rafa Gomez-Bombarelli is the Chief Learning Officer at ZebiAI.

In addition to his role with ZebiAI, Dr. Gomez-Bombarelli maintains his current appointment as Assistant Professor in Materials Science and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). While at MIT and previously, his research trajectory has ranged from experimental physical organic chemistry and genotoxicity to computer-driven design of molecular materials. By combining first-principles simulation with machine learning, his group works in accelerating the discovery cycle of novel practical materials.
