Jordan Ricardo

Jordan Ricardo has over 13 years of work experience in the recruiting industry. Jordan began their career in 2008 as a Search Consultant for The Honor Bridge, helping retiring military professionals find civilian jobs. In 2013, they became an Executive Recruiting Associate for The Pacific Firm, where they were responsible for profiling organizations and targeting individuals to identify the best potential C-level talent for their clients. In 2014, they worked as a Technical Recruiter for The Sourcery, where they developed key best practices and mentored junior recruiters. Jordan then joined Gild (acquired by Citadel LLC) as a Talent Acquisition Manager, where they extended twenty-four accepted offers to join the team while maintaining a > 95% offer acceptance rate. In 2016, they became a Recruiting Lead for Data Science at Galvanize Inc. and in 2017 they were Head of Talent at Instrumental Inc., where they were one of the first ten employees. In 2018, they were a Senior Technical Recruiter for Autonomous Vehicles Division at Lyft. In 2020, they were Recruiting at Kodiak Robotics, where they led hiring for all technical and business teams and grew the team from 60 to 100+. Lastly, in 2019 and 2022, they were Head of Talent at Kitty Hawk and Zenith Aerospace, respectively.

Jordan Ricardo has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Urban Studies - Urban Planning & Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University. Jordan also has Continuing Studies in Computer Science and Spanish Language from City College of San Francisco, and a Global Urban Studies degree from the University of Virginia through a Semester at Sea program. Additionally, Jordan has obtained several certifications, including a Jira Service Management Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in July 2022, Employee Engagement from LinkedIn in July 2017, Using Data Science to Hire Employees from LinkedIn in July 2017, Diversity Recruiting from LinkedIn in March 2017, and Negotiation Fundamentals from LinkedIn in March 2017.
