Kristy Asseily has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Kristy has worked as an Emissions Product Lead at ZeroNorth since 2023. Previously, they worked at S&P Global Market Intelligence as the Maritime Sustainability Lead, where they focused on developing sustainable solutions for supply chains. Before that, at IHS Markit, they worked as a Maritime Sustainability Lead and Senior Product Management Analyst, leading sustainability and ESG solutions for the Maritime and Trade department. Kristy also has experience as a Strategy Consultant at SUEZ Consulting Engineering, a Consultant Project Lead at 180 Degrees Consulting HEC Paris, and an Academic Tutor and Advisor at The Student Tutors Group. Moreover, they have internship experience at IHS Markit, the United Nations, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and UNESCO.

Kristy Asseily completed their education with a Master of Science - MSc degree in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris in 2021. Kristy also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), which they obtained between 2016 and 2019. In 2019, they enrolled at Le Wagon for an unspecified course. Before that, from 2002 to 2016, they attended Collège Notre Dame de Nazareth, Beyrouth, where they completed their French Baccalaureate in the Economics & Sociology (ES) stream.
