David Ingalls

Founder & Chief Innovation Officer at Zing Bars

David Ingalls has a long history of experience in the nutrition field. In 2006, they began working as a Nutritional Counselor at the Seattle Healing Arts Center and as an Adjunct Faculty at Bastyr University. In 2010, they founded and became the Chief Innovation Officer of Zing Nutrition Bars, and also took on the role of CEO and Co-Founder. In this role, they were inspired to pursue nutrition as a career due to the profound effect it had on their own well-being. David had suffered from chronic fatigue without a clear cause, and was able to achieve relief through conscious focus on an intelligent diet and eliminating gluten after discovering they were intolerant.

David Ingalls received their Bachelor of Arts - BA from Yale University in 1988 and their Bachelor's degree in American Theirtory (United States) from Yale University in 1988. David then went on to receive their Master's in Nutritional Biochemistry from Bastyr University in 2005. David also holds a RDN, MS certification from the Comission on Dietetic Registration.
