Emily Armes

Emily Armes has a diverse work experience, starting from their most recent position as a Software Engineer in Platform at ZOE. Prior to that, they worked at Citrix as a Software Engineer in Platform/Solution Engineering, where they developed critical DevOps Automation to enable easily configurable deployment and continuous testing. Emily also served as a Teaching Assistant at Hendon School and held various roles at the University of Bristol Food Society, including Secretary and Vice President. Emily interned at PwC UK as a Deals Summer Intern and participated in the Women in Business: Deals Insight Scheme. Emily also had experience as a Treasurer at the University of Bristol, Badock Hall Junior Common Room (JCR), where they oversaw finances for social, educational, and cultural events. Furthermore, they had a brief role as a Creative Data Academy Student at The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing. Additionally, Emily gained civil engineering work experience at BuroHappold Engineering and served as the Operations Manager of a student-led company called "Claris" at Young Enterprise UK.

Emily Armes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of Bristol from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended The Henrietta Barnett School from 2015 to 2017 for their All Girls Grammar Sixth Form education. Their earlier schooling was at Clapton Girls Academy from 2010 to 2015, where they received their education in an All Girls Comprehensive School. Emily also holds additional certifications including Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc., and Agile Foundations from LinkedIn. Emily obtained these certifications in December 2021, March 2021, and February 2021 respectively.
