Dayna Kappenman

Dayna Kappenman is a Senior Scientist at Zoetis, specializing in the renal therapeutic area for companion animals, responsible for the design, development, validation, and execution of functional in vitro assays. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist and Group Leader at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, where evaluation of binding kinetics was conducted using Surface Plasmon Resonance technology. Dayna's earlier roles at Pfizer Inc involved vaccine research, where expertise in flow cytometry, assay development, and immune cell characterization was demonstrated. Additional roles included in vitro dermatology research and laboratory management at the University of Michigan Health Systems. Dayna holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan and has pursued an M.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Eastern Michigan University.
