VMware has filled a major leadership role by promoting Kit Colbert to serve as its next Chief Technology Officer. Colbert has previously served as the CTO of VMware’s Cloud, General Manager of VMware’s Cloud-Native Apps business, CTO for VMware’s End-User Computing Business, and as the lead architect for the VMware vRealize Operations Suite. CloudBees has named Dinesh Keswani as the enterprise software delivery company’s new CTO. Prior to HSBC, Keswani was the VP of Engineering and Information Systems at GoDaddy and held senior engineering roles at both Intuit and Microsoft. Source | Full Story

Piano, a global analytics and activation platform, today announced that Nick Worth has joined the organization as its inaugural Chief Client Officer. Source

LogMeIn appointed Okta channel veteran, Patrick McCue, as its new Global Vice President of Channel Sales. Source

Facebook's Distinguished Technical Lead for Responsible AI, Joaquin Quiñonero Candela, has officially stepped away from the social media giant after almost a decade. Yahoo has officially named a new CEO as the company charts a new era outside of Verizon. Effective September 27, Tinder Chief Executive Jim Lanzone will take over the responsibility of leading the storied internet brand. Source | Full Story

Match Group has appointed Renate Nyborg to succeed Jim Lanzone as the CEO of Tinder, the company's flagship dating app. In her previous role at Tinder, Nyborg led the app's marketing efforts across Europe and oversaw strategic global initiatives across the company. Source | Full Story

The Wikimedia Foundation has appointed Maryana Iskander as the organization’s new CEO. Iskander has served as CEO of Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, a South African non-profit focused on youth unemployment, sicne 2013. Source

Vroom, an e-commerce marketplace for buying and selling used cars, announced on Monday that Robert Krakowiak will be its next Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Krakowiak previously served as the CFO of Stoneridge Corporation. Source | Full Story

Transportation Tech

Apple has selected Kevin Lynch to lead its mysterious efforts to create a self-driving electric vehicle. Lynch has been with the company since 2013 and reportedly joined the Project Titan team earlier this year. Before that, he was a VP of Technology in the company’s wearable unit. Source | Full Story

Ford has revealed it has a new Chief Digital and Information Officer, Mike Amend. Amend joins the iconic automaker from Lowe’s, where he nearly tripled e-commerce sales as the home improvement store’s President of Online. Source | Full Story

Vinli has hired Kevin Moore as their new EVP of Sales. Moore joins the automotive connectivity company from Verizon, where he led the telecom's telematics unit. Source

Faraday Future announced the hiring of four new leadership members. Harjeet Gill will join as Director of Safety, CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering), Homologation and Testing; Dr. Xinbao Gao joins as Senior Director, Energy Storage and Charging; Dr. Fan Wang will lead as Head of Software Engineering, ADAS and Self Driving; and Chuck Russell will lead Vehicle Quality. Duck Creek Technologies announced that marketing industry veteran Jeff Winter has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. Winter joins the startup from Rocket Software, where he also served as CMO. Source | Full Story

H1 has hired industry veterans Karen Moran as its new Chief Financial Officer, and Mayur Thakur as its new Chief Data Officer, additionally, former Dropbox CIO Sylvie Veilleux has joined its Board of Directors. Source | Full Story

Clinical Research IO, a Boston-based technology firm streamlining clinical trials for sponsors and sites, announced that Stephen Boccardo will join as SVP of Sales. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Commercial Strategy for Quartesian. Source

Curebase, a company working to democratize access to clinical studies, has named clinical trial veteran Wayne Bowden as VP of Business Development. Bowden was previously the VP of Partnerships and Strategy for clinical research organization Biorasi. Source

Cloudmed, a revenue intelligence solutions provider for healthcare providers, announced the appointment of Steve Albert as Chief Product Officer. He has held product and market development leadership roles at 1010data, Mastercard, Equifax, and most recently at GeoPhy. Source

Turning announced that Steve Killen has been named as the learning engagement platform's Chief Sales Officer. He most recently served as Vice President of Sales, Universities & Colleges, at Jostens. Source

Fintech

Bankjoy announced the addition of Mike Brown as VP of Product. Brown joins Bankjoy with over 15 years of experience, previously serving as Director of Product Innovation at Mastercard. Source

ClassWallet, a digital wallet technology provider for K-12 education, has appointed Karen Nelson as VP of Marketing. Prior to joining ClassWallet, she served for six years as the director, brand and demand generation, for SMART Technologies, the Calgary, Canada-based supplier of interactive solutions for student collaboration and engagement. FlyCoin has named Lenny Moon as the blockchain-based travel rewards program. Additionally, Moon will assume the position of CFO of FLOAT Alaska LLC, the parent company of FlyCoin, Northern Pacific Airways, Ravn Alaska, and other owned subsidiaries. Source

Aerospace

Voyager Space announced the appointment of Abby Dickes as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining Voyager, Dickes was the manager of U.S. government marketing and communications at Maxar Technologies for the company's civil and national security space infrastructure portfolio. Source

Semiconductors

Revasum has appointed Rebecca Shooter-Dodd to the roles of President, CEO, and Executive Director effective immediately. Ms. Shooter-Dodd is currently the Company's Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO), and Company Secretary. The Company will commence an executive search for a Chief Financial Officer. Source

MSP360, an IT management solutions provider for MSPs and IT departments worldwide, has appointed Amit Kumar as its VP of Operations. Prior to MSP360, he helped the web hosting company Endurance International Group grow its revenue by more than 40 percent. Source

Securiti, a leader in multicloud data protection, privacy and governance, today announced it has hired Matt Hickey from Palo Alto Networks as CRO, Rob Sexton from Palo Alto Networks as VP of Sales for North America, Parmeet Chaddha from Google as SVP of Customer Success, and Alex Poulos from Dropbox as VP of Marketing. Vouched, a developer of proprietary, AI-powered, real-time identity verification, today announced that veteran technology executive Steve McQuade has joined as CTO. McQuade previously headed technology at TUNE as the Vice President of Engineering and Operations. Source
