Mark Sandberg

Mark Sandberg has over 20 years of work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Mark is currently serving as the Scientific Director at A2 Biotherapeutics, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at A2 Biotherapeutics as a Senior Scientist from 2018 to 2021. Mark also held the position of Senior Scientist at Amgen from 2009 to 2017. Before that, they served as a Group Leader at Wintherix, LLC in 2008 and as a Scientist at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation from 2002 to 2008. Mark Sandberg started their career as a Post Doctoral Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1999 to 2001.

Mark Sandberg received their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego from 1988 to 1993. Mark then pursued a Ph.D. in Oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completing their studies from 1993 to 1999.
