Helen Duriez has a diverse work experience in the publishing industry. Helen started their career in 2006 at Oxford University Press, where they held various roles, including Journals Production and Distribution Co-ordinator, Journals Production Editor, and Journals Production Team Leader. During their time at Oxford University Press, they managed teams, led production development strategies for academic journals, and ran training sessions. In 2011, Helen joined Pan Macmillan as a Production Manager, where they managed a team and was responsible for supplier contracts and setting up production workflows. Helen then moved on to work at The Royal Society in 2012 as an ePublishing Manager, where they led digital innovation and managed product development for the society's online platform and academic journals. In 2017, Helen joined John Wiley and Sons as a Product Manager before taking on a role as Senior Product Manager at Adam Matthew Digital in 2018. At Adam Matthew Digital, they set the development vision and product roadmap for the company's archival materials platform.
Helen Duriez received a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics from the University of York, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Helen then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Publishing from Oxford Brookes University from 2005 to 2006. Prior to their university education, Helen attended Sawtry Community College, where their field of study and degree name are unknown. Additionally, in August 2015, they obtained a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification, but the institution from which they obtained the certification is unspecified.
