Ivana D.

Ivana D. has extensive experience in data analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology roles. Ivana currently holds the position of VP, Corporate Head of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence at Adtalem Global Education, where they oversee a growing department focusing on analytics and AI portfolio management, data engineering, reporting analytics, data science, and AI functions. In addition, they chair the Adtalem Information Governance Committee and is responsible for operational cost effectiveness and capital investments.

Prior to their current role, Ivana worked as the Head of AML Data and Analytics, Executive Director at USAA, where they established an agile and multiskilled department responsible for information governance, data quality, analytics, and data engineering for Anti Money Laundering. Ivana also served as a voting member of the USAA Bank Information Governance Committee and Enterprise Information Governance Committee.

Before joining USAA, Ivana held positions at BMO Financial Group as the Vice President & AML Quantitative Analytics Lead and AML Modeling, Analytics & Technology Manager. Ivana led AML in-house technology innovation, big data implementation, and quantitative analytics in big data environments. Ivana also served as a big data architect on the AML platform and led the implementation of new AML products.

In addition to their financial industry experience, Ivana has worked at Accretive Health as a Senior Team Lead for Business Intelligence for Population Health Services, where they led warehouse data modeling, ETL design, and the development of algorithms for population health services. Ivana has also held roles at SimplexInvestments as an Algorithmic Trader, Purdue University Fort Wayne as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, VisionMenu as an Application Developer, and T-Mobile Macedonia as a Software Developer Intern.

Ivana D. has a diverse education history. In 2019, they attended the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education where they completed The Chicago Management Institute program in the field of Management. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Computer Science at Purdue University. Ivana'sundergraduate studies were done from 2005 to 2009 at Ss Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Macedonia, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Informatics and Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Ivana has also obtained certifications, including the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021 and the IEBI: Immersion Event on Business Intelligence from SQLskills in 2012.
