James Lloyd

James Lloyd is an experienced professional with a diverse background in procurement and operational leadership across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. James served as Senior Director, Head of Operational Services at Aiolos Bio, which launched in October 2023 and was acquired by GSK in February 2024. Previously, James held roles at Novartis, including Chief of Staff and Integration Lead for Gyroscope Therapeutics, where efforts focused on integrating business activities post-acquisition while advancing clinical trials. Additional experience includes leadership positions in procurement at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Airswift, Centrica, and AstraZeneca, where James managed extensive cross-functional teams and sourcing strategies globally. Academically, James holds an MA in German & Dutch Linguistics and a BA in German with French from King's College London, complemented by studies at the University of Vienna and the Institut Français d'Autriche-Vienne.
