Jake Lee, CPA has a long and varied career in accounting and finance. Jake began their career in 2013 as a Finance Intern at NPR, where they prepared financial statements in compliance with GAAP in the General Ledger Department, instructed in and used proprietary accounting software, and created invoices and administered cash receipts in the Accounts Receivable Division. In 2015, they joined KPMG as an Audit Senior, where they improved clients' control environment by communicating audit and internal control issues to key stakeholders, lead internal planning meetings to refine audit procedures and maximize available project resources, and tested complex audit areas including discounted cash flow models, weighted average cost of capital analyses, and level-3 valuations. In 2017, Jake moved to Lever as an Accounting professional, where they managed $10M of cash outflow accounts on the Profit and Loss Statement, reviewed departmental budgets with leadership teams and developed strategies to accomplish budgetary goals, and analyzed account variances on month end financial statements and presented key findings to the CFO. In 2018, Jake joined LinkedIn as an Account Executive, Talent Solutions, Senior Sales Development, Sales Solutions, and Sales Development, Sales Solutions. Finally, in 2020, they moved to Carta as an Account Executive, Mid-Market and Account Executive, SMB, and in 2023, they joined Airbase as a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive.

Jake Lee, CPA completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Accounting from UC Santa Barbara in 2014. Before that, they attended Newport Harbor High School from 2006 to 2010. In March 2017, they obtained their CPA certification. In May 2020, they completed the Microeconomics: The Power of Markets course from Coursera.
