VP of Organization Development at Alabam Goodwill

Amanda Ford is the Vice President of Organizational Development and Mission Advancement at Alabama Goodwill. Amanda has been with the company since October 2019. Prior to their current position, they were the Director of Talent Management at Goodwill Industries from November 2011 to November 2019. In this role, they oversaw all HR and internal learning functions for the organization, including benefits, talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, compensation and compliance, and HRIS management. Amanda also created and maintained various operational policies, SOPs, and eLearning and traditional training methods.

Amanda previously worked as the DC and IT Training Partner at Pier 1 Imports from July 2014 to May 2015, where they created and implemented training initiatives, safety plans, learning materials, and development experiences for distribution centers and IT HQ support.

Amanda Ford has a Master of Science in Education from Mount Saint Mary College. Amanda specialize in teaching and has worked as a teacher for many years.
