Majd Ahsan Syed

Majd Ahsan Syed has extensive experience in human resources, spanning over 25 years. Majd started their career at ICI Pakistan as an HRBP and worked there for 8 years. Majd then moved to British American Tobacco as an HRBP, focusing on Sales and Marketing. After that, Syed joined Unilever as an HR Manager and Change Lead for the Gulf region.

In 2007, they joined Al-Futtaim as the Head of HR for the Electronics, Engineering, and Technology business. Majd later became the General Manager of Human Resources for the Regional and Emerging Markets in the Automotive cluster. Additionally, they held the position of Acting HR Director for the Automotive sector, where they were responsible for managing a large team across various geographies.

Syed's most recent position was with Alghanim Industries as a Senior HR Director for the Automotive, Manufacturing, and Engineered Products division.

Throughout their career, Syed has demonstrated expertise in various areas of HR, including total rewards, organization effectiveness, performance management, mobility, and job leveling. Majd has also played a key role in HR strategy development, business localization, and HR process improvement.

From 1993 to 1995, Majd Ahsan Syed attended New Mexico State University where they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Business.
