Mark McCune

Mark McCune has extensive experience in telecommunications and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineer for Telecom & Networks at Alliant Energy since September 2006, where responsibilities include designing and maintaining various licensed and unlicensed frequency systems. Previously, Mark held multiple engineering and managerial roles at McLeod USA from May 1995 to August 2006, overseeing engineering regions and data management across a 25-state footprint, while leading design engineering teams for customer access systems. Early career experience includes working as a Telecommunications Engineer at MWR Telecom, focusing on fiber optic cabling infrastructures in Iowa. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Iowa State University, earned between 1985 and 1989.
