Brendan Comerford

VP of Software Systems & Development at Altamira

Brendan Comerford is the Vice President of Software and Systems Development of Altamira Technologies Corporation. A data analytics and advanced engineering company supporting the U.S. national security community in McLean, Virginia.

As Vice President of Software and Systems Development, Brendan Comerford oversees the software, systems, architecture groups, and supports major acquisitions. As a Project Management Professional (PMP), Brendan manages programs for the DoD and IC. For the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), Brendan serves as Altamira’s Program Manager (PM) for MEGASTAR, and deputy PM for the Advanced Technical Exploitation Program (ATEP II).

Before Joining Altamira, Brendan spent more than 10 years supporting NASIC and NGA leading software and systems development teams of over 30 engineers, architecting systems of systems, and running scrums of scrums. Brendan also spent more than 10 years supporting the commercial robot community in an R&D role developing complex robot controllers where he received patents in robot teaching methods.

Brendan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Physics from Ohio Northern University.
