Carol Toner

Carol Toner has a diverse work experience. Carol started their career in 1995 as a Service Manager at Alternative Futures Group, where they remained until 2002. During their time there, they also served as the Head of Learning and Development, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of learning interventions. Carol played a key role in creating the internal qualifications center and maintaining a high-quality program.

In 2004, Carol joined Pearson as an Associate Quality Assurance Verifier, a role they held until 2009. Carol'sresponsibilities included ensuring the quality and accuracy of assessments and evaluations.

Carol returned to Alternative Futures Group in 2012 as the Director of Community Services. In this position, they provided leadership and strategic direction to operational services and the workforce in the region. Carol was also responsible for the organization's growth programs. After three years, they transitioned to the role of Regional Director, overseeing the overall management of the region. Later, they became the Head of Operations - Mental Health, and in 2020, they assumed the role of Head of Development.

Carol continued their education at the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), where they obtained a Level 5 degree in the same field.
