Peng Lu has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Peng started their career at Huahai Shipping Company Ltd., where they served as the Assistant to the Managing Director from January 2004 to June 2005. Peng then joined DB Schenker as an Assistant Project Manager, in-house Operation & Quality Control from January 2006 to May 2006. Subsequently, Peng Lu worked at IKEA as a Supply Chain Management Talent, Distribution Services Asia Pacific from September 2008 to October 2010.
Peng Lu's most recent and significant role was with Amer Sports, where they held various positions over a considerable period. Peng began their tenure at Amer Sports in October 2010 as the Supply Chain Manager, APAC GTM. In this role, Peng Lu established the Supply Chain & Operations platform for the APAC region and was responsible for operational excellence across all brands in the region. Peng then progressed to become the Senior Operations Manager, APAC GTM from April 2015 to June 2017, followed by the Operations Director APAC, Global Operations role from July 2017 to June 2019. Finally, Peng Lu held the position of Operations Director, Greater China from June 2019 until the present, and in April 2023, they will assume the role of Senior Operations Director, Greater China.
Peng Lu's experience includes managing and improving various aspects of operations and supply chain, such as S&OP, service, logistics, processes, cash management, after-sales service, and sell-thru intelligence development. Peng has also led key projects like brand operation integrations and establishing DCs for Amer Sports. Peng Lu completed an MBA Graduate Exchange program at the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management in 2006-2007. They also obtained a Master's degree in International Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Jönköping University, and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management and Strategic renewal from the same university. Prior to this, Peng Lu received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics and Trade from Nanjing University of Finance and Economics.
