Qualitative Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Cody Bock has a diverse range of work experience. In 2014, they worked as a Writing & Economics Tutor and as an Intercultural Educator at Central College. In the same year, they also served as a Middle School Program Leader at Freedom for Youth Ministries. In 2015, Cody briefly worked as an Urban Farm Manager at Growing Power Inc. Moving forward, from 2016 to 2017, they were a Management Intern at the U.S. Department of State, where they led housing projects, prepared reports, and created English language programming. Cody then joined Peace Corps Guinea in 2017 as a Math Teacher & Teacher-Trainer. Cody collaborated with community members to support projects focusing on girls' education, public health, and improved school practices. In 2019, Cody became the General Section Editor at St. Antony's International Review (STAIR), where they were responsible for peer reviewing, copy-editing, and designing a logo for the publication. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Research Consultant at Organisation Development & Research Ltd. Lastly, in 2022, Cody started working as a Qualitative Research Associate at the American Institutes for Research.

Cody Bock's education history includes earning a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Development Studies from the University of Oxford from 2019 to 2021. Before Oxford, Cody attended Central College from 2013 to 2017, where they studied Economics, French, and Environmental Studies. In 2015, Cody also briefly attended L'Institut Catholique de Paris and obtained a Bachelor's Degree.
