The board of directors at Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute has a history of experience in a variety of industries and fields of education. Members of the board have worked as interim president and CEO at NorQuest College, as well as in legal governance strategy advisory and vice president external affairs and corporate counsel roles. Additionally, members of the board have experience as an independent consultant, chief marketing officer, and group account director. Furthermore, the board has experience in academia, holding positions such as interim dean at University of Alberta and head of biology department at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Finally, the board has experience in business and finance, working as partner at Inovia Capital and chief strategy officer at AVG Technologies. This wide range of experience and knowledge allows the board to provide valuable insights and perspectives on a variety of issues.
