Senior Software Engineer at Amount

Nikita Buyevich has extensive work experience as a software engineer. They began their career in 2016 at Intelligent Medical Objects, where they worked as a software engineer intern. During this time, they developed a machine learning-driven medical term search engine and collaborated with the CTO on building a mobile application for patient data. They also upgraded the backend and database of an access login web application to AWS's DynamoDB.

In 2018, Nikita was promoted to the role of software engineer at Intelligent Medical Objects and took on additional responsibilities. They wrote multiple microservices for a custom flat file delivery service, implemented custom authentication and authorization middleware, and led an intern bootcamp for 10 interns. They also integrated automated testing and reporting tools to significantly increase code coverage.

In 2021, Nikita joined Amount as a senior software engineer, where they continue to contribute their expertise in software development.

Nikita Buyevich pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2014 to 2016. During this time, they focused on the Division of General Studies with a specific interest in Computer Science. Nikita then transferred to the University of Illinois Chicago, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from 2016 to 2018.
