Ryan Boyd

Ryan Boyd is a scientist with extensive experience in biomolecular research and drug development. Currently serving as Scientist I at AmplifyBio since June 2023, Ryan is involved in engineering, producing, purifying, and testing biomolecules such as proteins and RNA lipid nanoparticles. As a consultant for Weiss Asset Management since March 2023, Ryan provides expertise in scientific matters. Previously, Ryan worked at NGM Biopharmaceuticals as Scientist I in Biologics, focusing on the purification and formulation of innovative biomolecule drugs. Ryan's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California, Davis. Notable research contributions include work at the Mayo Clinic on the structural elucidation of the AZD-1222 Covid-19 vaccine vector and experience in various laboratories employing advanced biochemical techniques.
