Angie Y.

Angie Y. has a wealth of experience in Human Resources. Angie began their career in 2005 as a University Recruiting Staffing Associate at Microsoft, where they were responsible for managing and coordinating 350+ events across 20-30 universities and 50+ intern events held at Microsoft headquarters annually. Angie also program managed the College Scholarship program and recruited, onboarded and managed contingent staff while working within a $1.7 million budget. In 2011, they took on two roles at Microsoft, HR Specialist & Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions and HR Program Manager. In their role as HR Specialist & Analyst, they collaborated with cross-functional teams on operational components for project planning, change management and employee communication. In their role as HR Program Manager, they developed, implemented and managed communications, timelines and training of performance review processes to the HR team and key stakeholders. In 2015, they joined Veeva Systems as an HR Business Partner, where they engaged in relationships with the executive leadership, second line management and employees over three Product Engineering and the Operations organizations. Angie also coached and educated executive and senior leadership around leadership team effectiveness, leadership development, performance management, employee development, employee relations, visa/permanent residency processes, university recruiting processes and all other HR processes. In 2018, they moved to NerdWallet as an HR Business Partner. In 2019, they joined Pear Therapeutics as a Director, HRBP. In 2020, they joined Model N as a Senior Director, HRBP. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Amyris as the Director, People Partner.
