Lucy Nguyen has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Peer Educator role at Self-Help Credit Union in 2013. Lucy then worked as an Intern for Urban Sprouts in 2012 and a Summer Work Experience Program Intern in 2012. In 2014, they became a Shift Leader at Sodexo. In 2015, they worked as a Junior Project Manager for Linked Strategies, a Logistic Intern for the University of California, Davis, and a Sewer System Improvement Program Intern for Black & Veatch. In 2018, they became a Human Resources Coordinator for PRO Unlimited, a Human Resource Information System Manager, HRIS Analyst, and Onboarding Specialist for Garten. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Manager of HRIS and HR Operations for Amyris.

Lucy Nguyen graduated from Mission High School in 2013 with a High School Diploma. Lucy then attended the University of California, Davis, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cognitive Science, with a Minor in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication, both in 2017. In 2018, they completed a Nanodegree in Business Analytics from Udacity. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners (2022), Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365) (2020), and from HRCI in Workforce Analytics upSkill Micro-Learning (2020).
