Jeffrey Hsu

Jeffrey Hsu has over 11 years of work experience. In 2019, they started working as a Staff Automation Engineer at Amyris. Prior to this, they worked at Amyris as an Automation Engineer from 2018-2019, where they were the lead method developer for integrated systems in the Automated Strain Engineering Lab. Jeffrey was responsible for source control/versioning, monitoring system health, troubleshooting, and error handling. Jeffrey used software such as Green Button Go (C#), VWorks (JS), Echo EPR/ECP, Biomek Software (VBA), and Venus Software, and was proficient in programming languages such as C#, Javascript, VBA, and Excel. From 2008-2018, Jeffrey worked at Agilent Technologies, where they were a Systems Delivery & Senior Project Manager, Applications Manager, Applications Engineer, and Applications Technician. In 2007, they worked as an Applications Technician at Velocity 11.

Jeffrey Hsu graduated from Mission San Jose High School and later obtained a Master of Science in Bio-Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
