Over the past 15 years Evan has developed and commercialized novel surfaces and microfabrication processes for next generation sequencing, qPCR, digital PCR, microarray, and capillary electrophoresis platforms. He received his B.A. in chemistry from Reed College in Portland, Oregon in 2000, and his Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from the University of Oregon in 2006. He went on to work at Applied Biosystems, Complete Genomics, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. He joined Ansa in October of 2021.
