Thomas V.

Thomas V. has over 20 years of work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Thomas'smost recent position is as an Associate Scientist at Applied Molecular Transport, where they started in November 2021. Previously, they served as a Senior Associate Scientist at Grifols from March 2021 to November 2021. In this role, they executed qualification of SDS-PAGE and Western Blot methods for Hepatitis C Virus Antigen, and successfully developed an ion-exchange method to separate difficult monoclonal antibodies.

Thomas also held positions at Bayer HealthCare as an Associate Scientist, Life Technologies as a Research Associate, Agilent Technologies as a Quality Assurance Engineer, ALZA Corporation as a Consulting Analyst, Applied Biosystems as a Production Chemist, and the Technical University of Denmark as a Laboratory Technician.

Throughout their career, Thomas has gained expertise in various techniques such as chromatography, purification, analytical method development, and DNA characterization.

Thomas V. obtained an AP in Chemistry from Erhvervsakademi Aarhus | Business Academy Aarhus, from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they studied at DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 1999 and 2000, with a focus on Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry, though they did not obtain a degree. In 1996 to 1999, Thomas V. attended Københavns Professionshøjskole and earned a Bachelor of Science - BS in Chemical and Biotechnical Science.
