Kyle Berger

Kyle Berger has a diverse work experience in engineering and computer science. Kyle has been working at ARA since 2018 as a Senior Engineer/Team Lead, where they lead a multi-disciplinary Agile team. Kyle is responsible for developing mathematical models of weapons effects using C++ and Python. Kyle also worked at Bennett Aerospace from 2016 to 2018 as a Staff Software Engineer, where they were involved in developing physics-based mathematical models of weapons effects using C++, FORTRAN, and Python. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at ARA in 2016. Kyle's academic background includes being a PHD Student at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2010 to 2016, where they worked on their research. Kyle also gained valuable experience through internships at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in 2015, NASA Kennedy Space Center and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratories in 2013, and Colorado School of Mines in 2014. Additionally, they worked on a Quantum Simulations Course Project and was a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Colorado- Hrenya Research Group in 2010.

Kyle Berger completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 2006 to 2010. Kyle then pursued further education at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from 2010 to 2016.
