Sarah Jane Shine

Sarah Jane Shine has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sarah Jane is currently the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate General Counsel at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation from January 2020 to February 2023. Sarah Jane also worked as the Senior HR Director/Corporate Counsel at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation from July 2019 to January 2020, where they oversaw HR functions, compliance, and provided employment counsel. Sarah has also worked at ASRC Energy Services, LLC as an Associate General Counsel from January 2019 to July 2019. Earlier, they worked as a Senior Corporate Counsel at Arctic Slope Regional Corporation from October 2016 to October 2018. Before joining Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, Sarah gained expertise as an Associate/Counsel at Perkins Coie LLP from October 2011 to October 2016, where they handled labor and employment matters and represented clients in litigation cases. Sarah Jane began their legal career as an Associate at Mennemeier, Glassman & Stroud from 2009 to 2011. Sarah also has prior experience in the federal government as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Garland Burrell Jr. in 2008.

Sarah Jane Shine received their Juris Doctor, Order of the Coif degree from the University of California, Davis - School of Law, where they attended from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English, summa cum laude, at Cornell University from 2001 to 2005.
