Ed Laurent is an experienced operations project manager currently co-managing two rapidly scaling commercial plant-based food manufacturing facilities and 18 retail stores at Arden's Garden since May 2017. Laurent previously served as the executive director at Connecting Conservation, where leadership in wildlife conservation initiatives and partnership development were key responsibilities. Past roles also include science coordinator at American Bird Conservancy, where contributions to bird monitoring projects and technical documentation were significant, as well as positions at North Carolina State University, Michigan State University, Purdue University, and other organizations, focusing on wildlife habitat modeling and ecological research. Ed Laurent holds a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University, an MS in Biology from Purdue University Fort Wayne, and a BS in Biology from Virginia Tech.
