Craig Blain

Director at Arrakis Therapeutics

Craig Blain has a wealth of experience in the pharmaceutical and research fields. Craig began their career in 2005 as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Queen's University. In 2006, they were a Visiting Undergraduate Student at the University of Notre Dame. Craig then returned to Queen's University in 2007 to complete their Undergraduate Thesis. That same year, they were also a Harvard Origins of Life Initiative Undergraduate Fellow at Harvard Medical School. In 2008, they were a PhD Candidate and Teaching Fellow at Harvard University. In 2013, they joined Ra Pharmaceuticals as a Scientist I, then Scientist II & Group Leader, Scientist III & Group Leader, and a Deputy Leader for a drug discovery program. In 2017, they joined Arrakis Therapeutics as a Scientist II, Senior Scientist, Associate Director, and Director.

Craig Blain obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Honours in Biochemistry from Queen's University between 2003 and 2008. Craig then went on to Harvard University, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics between 2008 and 2013.
