Jose de la Garza

Jose (Pepe) De la Garza has a vast range of experience in supply chain and logistics management. Jose (Pepe) started their career in CEMEX as a Process Engineer and eventually became a Logistics Planning Senior Analyst. In between, they also worked as a Supply Chain Consultant at Manugistics. At CEMEX, they held various roles, including Director and Vice President, where they were responsible for managing procurement functions, overseeing strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, logistics, and warehousing. Jose (Pepe) achieved significant cost savings, optimized supply chain networks, and implemented a transportation management system. Jose (Pepe) also increased sales, integrated businesses, and improved safety programs. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Supply Chain - North America at Ash Grove Cement Company.

Jose (Pepe) De la Garza completed their Engineer's Degree in Mechanical and Industrial from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1991 to 1995. Jose (Pepe) later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree specializing in Master of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management between 1999 and 2001.
