Dennie Laney

Dennie Laney has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Dennie is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Associa since May 2022. Previously, in their role as a Board Member at DallasHR since January 2020, Dennie contributed to the organization's activities. Dennie also has experience running their own consulting firm, D. Laney Consulting Group, LLC, where they provided consulting services to maximize people performance by coaching and consulting senior executives on culture change, leadership, and organizational transformation. Prior to that, Dennie worked as the Vice President of People at MOOYAH Burgers Fries and Shakes, leading the Talent Management function and implementing innovative training and leadership programs. Dennie also served as the Managing Director of Enterprise Learning and Internal Communications at G6 Hospitality, where they led enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives and implemented competency models. In addition, Dennie held the position of Sr. Director of Learning and Development at Romano's Macaroni Grill, where they led training and communications teams and collaborated with the c-suite to strategize and implement training interventions for operational excellence. Dennie Laney holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a BFA in Dance from Western Michigan University. Additionally, Dennie has obtained certifications from the John Maxwell Team in 2016 and as a Franklin Covey Certified Trainer in 2014.
