Mark Mays

Mark Mays has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Mark is currently the Vice President and Financial Investigations Unit Risk Manager at Atlantic Union Bank, a role they began in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at USAA as a Senior Quality Advisor in AML Quality Risk and Control Testing from December 2021 to August 2022. Before that, Mark held various roles at South State Bank, including Vice President of Business Initiatives and Operational Effectiveness, AVP of CDD/EDD Analyst Supervisor, Banking Officer of CDD/EDD Analyst, BSA/CTR Analyst, and Customer Service Representative/Teller. Their tenure at South State Bank spanned from July 2007 to October 2021.
