Michael Austin

Michael Austin is an experienced Senior Program Manager at Atlas Research since September 2016, following a decade-long tenure as a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton where Michael contributed to the federal grants community and developed innovative solutions for award monitoring. Michael has held significant roles in nonprofit organizations, including as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the National Grants Management Association and as Internal Audit Manager for The Nature Conservancy, where Michael managed a substantial post-award monitoring program. Earlier experience includes leading a field office for Save the Children US in Malawi and providing financial leadership at the International Rescue Committee. Michael began a career at Citibank, progressing to Financial Analysis Manager. Michael holds an MBA in International Business from The George Washington University and a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland.
