Mooni Patel

Mooni Patel is the current Chief of Staff at Atlassian. Prior to their current position, Mooni served as Head of Legal Operations at Lyft from April 2018 to June 2020. In this role, Mooni was responsible for identifying, implementing, and administering all strategic software and workflow solutions for the company. Mooni also designed and implemented the legal and compliance budget and managed outside counsel and vendor relationships.

Before their time at Lyft, Mooni served as a Legal Program Manager at Airbnb from October 2017 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for managing all aspects of the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademark registration, copyright protection, and patent prosecution.

Mooni began their career as a Program Manager, Intellectual Property at Uber in September 2014. In this role, they were responsible for managing Uber's intellectual property portfolio and enforcing its IP rights worldwide. Mooni also negotiated and drafted IP-related agreements and provided legal advice on IP matters.

Mooni Patel is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.

Mooni Patel graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Political Science, Anthropology, and Creative Writing.
