Daniela Rubio has extensive work experience in the field of education. Daniela began their career as a Teacher at Teach For America in 2008 and also worked as a Teacher at Atlanta Public Schools from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, they joined IDEA Public Schools as a Teacher and later became an Assistant Principal. In 2015, they transitioned to Austin Achieve Public Schools, where they served in various roles, including Interventionist/Special Projects Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Principal, Lower Elementary School, PreK Program Founder, and currently serves as the Chief Community Officer. Their work experience spans over a decade, demonstrating their commitment and expertise in the education sector.
Daniela Rubio's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences in 2008. Daniela then pursued a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Policy from UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education, completing the program in 2011. More recently, Daniela participated in the leadership development program called Essential at Leadership Austin, belonging to Cohort 43.
